THE BAND
ABOUT
Five nerds who met at a coding bootcamp that turned out to be a pyramid scheme. They formed a band instead. They don't scale, they don't optimize, their big-O notation is cursed. But they'll give you everything they've got... until the stack bursts.
Genre: Musical theater meets metal with polka breakdowns, glitch, casio, disco beats with heavy instruments. Think The Darkness having five babies with Weird Al.
We believe in:
- C, Assembly, BSD
- RISC architecture
- Hard tabs, Whitesmiths style
- Brackets on the next line
- Close to the metal
- Rust is actually ok
- Python (the enemy)
- systemd (the other enemy)
- Microsoft (evil incarnate)
- Soft tabs / spaces (heresy)

Clouds of Confusion Seal of Quality Schlllop! Deluxe storytelling with a metal spirit and a polka heart. This music contains AI-generated vocals & instruments. Some content (e.g. the cover artwork) is created using original, locally grown, hand crafted genAI tools. All content has been painstakingly written, coded, POKE'd into existence, salted, hashed, generated, kill -9'd, cloned, encoded, decoded, sprite multiplexed, pushed, pulled, stashed, turned off and on again, edited, disassembled, baked, multiplied, divided by zero, polished, buffer overflowed, linked, shifted left 7 times, bit masked, debugged, cursed at, sold, stolen back, stale branched, unrar'ed, refactored, zipped, tar'ed, gzipped, uploaded, blown on like a cartridge, downloaded, sudo'd without thinking, copper listed, gifted, negotiated over, twittered, ROT13'd twice for security!, optimized, kidnapped, segfaulted, NOP sledded, merge conflicted, dicussed over, locked up, freed, reverted, pixeled, painted, smoked, composed, face-lifted, buried, exhumed, launched, cut, copied, reassembled, pasted, compiled, cooked, sun dried, stone washed, brain-rotted, shot, revived, executed, translated, jump started, memed, iterated over, eaten alive, produced, image'd, distributed, forgotten, lost, found, arranged, rearranged, destroyed and mass mass mass'd by gizmo64k.
COC ADVENTURE
A genuine Commodore 64 BASIC text adventure! Help Crash Override get the band ready for the show. You have 10 minutes. The crowd is getting restless. Don't let the exception go unhandled.
Runs on real hardware or any C64 emulator (VICE recommended). Three rooms of pure nostalgia. Null says "undefined". Infinite Loop won't stop drumming. Standard stuff.

CLOSE 2 THE METAL
A browser-based arcade shooter! Defend against waves of invaders, battle the dreaded MS-BOS floppy disk boss, and blow up chain reactions for massive damage. No quarters required. No Python allowed.
Pure JavaScript. Close to the metal. Whitesmiths style. Brackets on the next line. Always.

CLOUDS OF CONFUSION'S GUIDE TO RUST
Infinite Loop Patterson spent mass years drumming in Python. Couldn't loop fast. Couldn't thread right. The GIL had him in chains. Then he discovered Rust and mass mass broke free. Now he loops at native speed and mass won't stop. Null hasn't smiled since, but that's normal when dealing with the Rust community.
The band's official guide to a language under 40 they don't hate. No Zen. No PEP 8. No church. Just a compiler that never lies and a cactus that never judges.
