My name is Chris, also known as gizmo64k on social media et al. I build tools that give people control. Independent & on premise, mostly. If I can't explain how something works, I don't ship it. If I can't trace it, I don't own it.

Farbrausch member since 2000, which is where I learned that the tool is the work. Ten years as a shadow developer and designer for clients such as Bosch, Vorwerk, Porsche, Daimler, BMW, VW, Suzuki, Nike, Reebok, Adidas, IBM, Deutsche Telekom, Siemens and Microsoft, most of which I can't show you, taught me what happens when traceability isn't optional.

Everything on this site follows from those two schools. Tools, music, writing, the occasional transformer running on a Commodore 64 ;)
